The second Sinology Books Expo and the 2017 International Publishing House Forum Kongxuetang Sub-forum will be held in Guiyang on Sept 22.
The two are the only books expo approved by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television. Publishers will showcase over 100,000 books during the three-day event.
The expo has nine exhibition areas covering a total area of 7,000 square meters, attracting more than 280 publishing groups like Commercial Press, Social Science Academic Press, and Zhongzhou Ancient Books Publishing House.
It‘s worth noting that Guizhou Pavilion, the main hub of the expo will integrate local ethnic culture into traditional Chinese culture. It will showcase a lot of Guizhou's sinology books. Visitors have the chance to obtain print books or e-books through scanning QR codes at the expo.
More than 100 activities, including a seminar on traditional Chines culture and a forum on the contemporary values of Yangmingism, a philosophical school of Confucianism, will be held at the expo to meet readers’ cultural needs.
