Guizhou's online medical registration platform went into service recently, demonstrating Guizhou's exploration of a new online medical service model with the help of big data technology.
Government official Gong Zhongming said at a press conference held on July 7 that the platform "aims to improve patient satisfaction with convenient medical services".
According to Gong, the platform utilizes residential health cards to provide services, like registrations for imaging examinations, physical examinations and ultrasonography.
Online paying systems, such as Alipay, WeChat and Tenpay, have been adopted to make payment more user-friendly and convenient.
For those who have a bad memory, the platform's reminder service will send a message in advance so that they won't miss an appointment.
Altogether 181 state hospitals at or above the county level in Guizhou have currently plugged into the online platform, and residents can log on to the platform from its official website (https://www.guizhou12320.org.cn/), its official WeChat account, or its mobile app to enjoy services.
