New plans to facilitate the development of Guizhou's big data industry have been announced by the Guiyang Hi-tech Industrial Development Area and Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province.
The two districts will also cooperate with the Guanshanhu district to build a big data industrial belt stretching 19 kilometers from Changling Road to Baijin Avenue.

The industrial belt will include the Guiyang Big Data Corridor, Guiyang Big Data Park, Guiyang International Exhibition and Convention City, Guizhou Finance City, Guizhou Science City and Guizhou Big Data City.
Yang Mingjin, top official of the Baiyun district and CPC Party chief of the Guiyang Hi-tech Industrial Development Area, said, "The construction of the Guiyang Big Data Corridor will drive the economy and help the two districts grow into pilot zones of the innovative central city."
To attract investment and boost innovation, local authorities will introduce favorable policies for big data projects by improving subsidies and reducing costs on land and taxes.
Meanwhile, infrastructure improvements in water, electricity, logistics and network communication will be implemented along with an online government affairs platform to provide convenient services for companies involved in the plan.
