The Sino-Israeli Big Data Innovation Cooperation Forum was held in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, on May 25.
"I feel glad to see representatives from some of the leading big data enterprises in Israel attend the forum," said Amir Shlomo Laty, consul general of the Israeli Consulate General in Chengdu at the opening ceremony.
He further expressed wishes for closer cooperation between Guizhou and Israel in the big data sector.
"I think big data is all about the future because we are online 24/7. A lot of things have been put online," said Or Perelman, COO and co-founder of ChromaWay. "We are actively looking for partnerships in China and partners in Guiyang as well."
He added that Guiyang has been doing well of big data in the finance and he wanted to see how both sides can cooperate in the future.
Arron mankovski, CEO at Pitango Venture Capital, gave a speech on big data, and Zhang Xiaosong, general manager of Mr Ray, spoke on data safety and personal privacy protection at the forum.
Dozens of corporate leaders from China seeking collaboration also attended the forum, themed "Data Collects the Light of Technology."
