The opening ceremony for the 2017 China Intelligent Transport Big Data Application Innovation Contest was held at the Guizhou Park Hotel in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, on May 5 with an audience of over 200 in attendance.
Organized to help improve big data traffic monitoring and management, the contest will reward a total of two million yuan ($290,609) over three prize tiers. Winning projects will also receive additional support if they choose to develop in Guizhou.
Participants can apply for the contest worldwide on the official website from May 6 to July 17.
