The China-ASEAN Culture and Arts Education Communication Base was established in Guizhou province on March 22 by the Guizhou University of Commerce and Pearl River Piano Co, the world’s largest piano manufacturer.
The Kayserburg Art Scholarship, named after a series of pianos produced by Pearl River Piano Co, was also founded at the open ceremony. The scholarship will sponsor outstanding students enrolled at the university. The two projects were promoted through campus-enterprise cooperation by the China-ASEAN International Arts Education Communication Forum, devoted to cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
Pearl River Piano Co seeks to attract more professional undergraduates, as the Guizhou University of Commerce strives to integrate educational resources and to comprehensively cooperate with enterprises for benefit of its students. Through professional training and curriculum adjustments, major wins will be achieved for the campus, associated enterprises and undergraduates.
