Wanfeng Forest in the Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture was recently listed among the “top ten rapeseed flower landscapes in Guizhou” by the Guizhou Agriculture Committee and the Guizhou Tourism Development Committee.
The ten local agricultural tourism brands have been set up to attract tourists to visit Guizhou to appreciate the province’s lush rapeseed flower plantations in the pleasant spring climate famed nationwide. Rapeseed flowers bloom annually from January to late March in Wanfeng Forest over an area of 7.3 square kilometers. Visitors can weave through the blossoms by tenantable bicycle or on a tourist train. Horses are also available for tourists to ride.
The scenic spot is also equipped with a low-altitude flying base where tourists can enjoy the landscape of rapeseed flowers by plane or a hot-air balloon.
