The former residence of He Yingqin, a top official of Nationalist Government, has been standing for more than a century.
The wooden house is located in the south of Xingyi and witnessed the birth of He in 1890. The house has been refurbished three times over the years to become a spacious and bright three-section compound.
The yard was well preserved and the stone pillars, chairs, jars and walls are still there.
