More than 300 senior staff members from renowned companies including Microsoft, Baidu, Sony, Tencent and Sina attended the summit. Some 20 of them delivered speeches at the summit, covering the development of the industry and investment.

According to the summit sponsor, the summit is themed around co-creation in the industry.
This year, the technology of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality has seen big developments.
The summit revealed that the virtual reality industry has become closely connected with the big data sector. Gui'an New Area, an economic zone in Guizhou, has launched a series of policies to support its big data industry.
An official from Gui'an New Area emphasized the importance of the summit and stressed that it will help showcase the development trends for the industry.
