A tourism promotion conference was jointly held by the cities of Guiyang, Kunming, and Nanjing in Guiyang on Sept 1.
The three cities share similar landscapes, culture, and history and are major tourism destinations in Southwest China.
Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, is nicknamed “Spring City” and is the country’s gateway to Southeast and South Asia. Nanning is the biggest city in Guangxi province and is also a major cooperative city with ASEAN. Guizhou’s capital city of Guiyang, famous for its fresh air and favorable climate, is developing leisure tourism businesses.
The three cities will increase cooperation and complement each other's advantages based on similarities and differences. Interconnected tourism routes between the cities will also be released to promote their tourism industries together.
