Anshun is home to the world-famous Huangguoshu Waterfall. However that is not all the city has to offer.

Located in the center of Guizhou province, typical karst topography is strewn around the city and numerous natural wonders can be seen by visitors. Anshun also boasts intriguing cultural diversity, being home to more than 20 ethnic groups, including the Bouyei, Miao, Hui, Dong and Yi ethnic groups. The unique Tunpu culture, which derived from Ming Dynasty culture in central and eastern parts of China, is well preserved in Anshun.
All of these will be explored fully to attract visitors, boost the tourism economy and create employment among rural residents, according to officials.
