The city of Guiyang, Guizhou province will be holding the 1st Aerial Dance Art Competition, May 20-21, the city announced at a press conference, on March 30, noting that pole dancers from all over the world will come to perform.
The Chinese participants include three stars: Zou Wen, China’s top pole dancer, Yan Xu, winner of the China Pole Dance Championship for 2013, and Sun Jian, for this first of its kind event in Asia, which is expected to have an effect across Asia.
Host of the event is the Asian Aerial Dance Association with support from the Zou Wen Pole Dancing School.
