The 2016 Baili International Azalea Festival in Bijie, Guizhou province, is scheduled to open today. More than 60 types of the flowers will be displayed over about 600 square kilometers. The first few blooms are expected to occur in mid-March and full blooms will arrive around early April, according to organizers.
