Colorful Guizhou Airlines, with headquarters in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou province has announced on Jan 6 that it will be offering special ticket prices on Ctrip, China's major online travel agency.
These include a 20-yuan ($3) one-way ticket from Guiyang to Bijie, Guizhou province or Tianjin.
Colorful Guizhou is the province's first locally-owned carrier, and had its maiden flight on Dec 31, 2015. It is a joint-venture of the Guizhou Industrial Investment Group, with a 95-percent stake, and the Weining county Construction Investment Group.
The province says it hopes to begin operations by the end of 2016 to the cities of Chengdu, Zhuhai, Xi'an, Fuzhou and Haikou .
