Guizhou province announced that it expects to hire 9,000 teachers for its school in rural areas this year, on April 22, with a plan to sign contracts with them for rural compulsory primary and junior schools to begin soon with a July deadline.
The idea is to improve teacher resources and teaching quality in backward areas with qualified teachers on a three-year contract. Any college graduate under 30 can qualify for the project.
The salaries for the three years will come from either China's Central Goverment't finance deptartment or the finance department of the county where the school is located, with accommodations and other necessities provided by the county.
