China's version of Cano Cristales — a river in Colombia known as "The River of Five Colors" that attracts the world's attention in summer — will be open to the public during the National Day holiday period in early October.

The cave has five natural chambers whose total area is being investigated but is estimated at from 2,000 to 20,000 square meters.
A joint expedition from China, France and Portugal began investigating the area a few years ago but has yet to determine how the river's colors are formed.
