On October 11, Mr. Rafael Correa, President of Ecuador, inspected the Bahía de Caráquez Road and Bridge Project constructed by CGGC.
He listened to the report of the project implementation at the construction site. He also asked about the Labor Organization in charge of the project, the performance of the contract, etc, and talked with the personnel responsible for the site management of the Project Department. He said lots of infrastructure was devastated in the area affected by the "4.16" earthquake, and the Road and Bridge Project has drawn close attention of the people of Ecuador as one of post-earthquake reconstruction projects. He hoped that CGGC will continue to make full use of its advantages and complete the project as early as possible with scientific organization and meticulous construction so that it can help improve the traffic in the local area.
The Bahía de Caráquez Highway and Bridge Project is located in northwest of Manabi , which is composed of the 6.8 kilometer-long and 9.6 meter-wide road rehabilitation project and the 53.75 meter-long metal bridge project across Hama River.
