Fujian and Taiwan join hand in port partnership

The Fujian e-port management center recently signed an agreement with Taiwan's e-port platform, the Trade-Van Information Services Co, as a move to enhance cooperation on port clearance and logistics information sharing.

The initial cooperation will cover information of cross-Straits goods clearance, certificates of origin of Taiwan goods, inspection and quarantine certificates and information on port logistics.

The two parties will also jointly transform Fujian e-port into a platform for cross-Straits business exchange.

Fujian will further cooperate with Trade-Van and upgrade its cross-Straits commodities clearance information system to allow both sides to check the credit status of cross-Straits companies.
