CPPCC Fujian Committee closes its annual session

The Third Session of the 11th Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) successfully came to a close on Jan 31 with a total of 975 proposals being submitted.

Lin Wenjie, head of the Proposals Committee pointed out that, during the five-day session, members of the Committee and the participating units focused on the central task and served the overall interests.
They all performed their duties and positively offered advice to the further development of Fujian province, added Lin.
Among the 975 proposals, 752 were submitted by members of the Committee, and 223 were submitted by other institutions, such as the Democratic Party, the Association of Industry and Commerce, the people's organizations and the Specialized Commissions of Fujian Provincial CPPCC.
899 of the submitted proposals were placed on file, while the other 76 were directly sent to relevant departments as letters or reports from CPPCC members.
