Pingnan's second batch of patriotic educational bases, including Pingnan's Farming-Reading Culture Museum, was announced on Oct 25 in Jitou Primary School, Pingnan county, Fujian province.
Pingnan's Farming-Reading Culture Museum is a place to collect, protect and research historical documents. It is also used for teenagers' and children's patriotic education by holding activities on memorial days of Chinese historical events and characters.
Zhang Shuyan, curator of the Museum, said that the social benefits should be made a priority and officers must enhance their self-discipline. The Museum will offer practical services and be a display window for uncorrupted governance, agricultural history and patriotism.
An activity in the Museum for pupils followed the announcement ceremony, with the aim of helping teenagers get to know more about agricultural history and ancient lifestyles.
