Lu Shifei, head of the Grain Bureau of Pingnan County, led leaders in the bureau to pay visits to grass-roots enterprises, villages and households to promote the Party 's mass line and gather people’s comments and suggestions.
Firstly, they visited Longyuan village in Tangkou Town to carry out research work on new rural construction. Meanwhile, they paid visits to two households that have disabled members or are in a poor financial situation, to whom they gave a total of 1000 yuan ($ 106.53), showing the government’s care for them. Additionally, a new rural construction fund of 20,000 yuan was arranged.
They then visited food companies at the grassroots level, seeking suggestions and advice from them as to how to do the bureau's work better and help the companies solve problems. At the same time, the leadership also combined what they had learnt from the Party's mass line education with their practical work. They carried out in-depth research and guides food enterprises to actively implement self-inspection of their grain stockpile inventory, so as to pass national and provincial checks and to ensure the county's grain storage and market stability.
Thirdly, they also actively investigated the possible locations of the county’s central food reserve house, and discussed the building work of the house according to the county's master plan.
