Pingnan inspects health food

Pingnan Food and Drug Inspection Bureau began inspecting the health quality of food in Pingnan starting in late March. The inspection will last for a month.

The bureau mainly inspected food labels, which the authorities require to be consistent with national standards and indicate the food’s function.

The ingredients of the products should also be in line with national standards and must not contain banned substances. The companies should be qualified to produce or sell healthy food.
