A large variety of agro-products, such as Anxi Tieguanyin, a premium kind of oolong tea produced in the province, have gained wide popularity across the world.
Fujian also maintains close agricultural economic ties with Taiwan, with which it is closely linked.
Statistics shows that, in 2017, Taiwan's investment in the sector reached $120 million, placing Fujian first among the provinces in terms of level of agricultural investment.
Looking ahead, Fujian will make more efforts to advance supply-side reform in agriculture and speed up the pace of rural vitalization in the province, Yu vowed.
