Plane with expo logo will debut in Shaanxi

XI'AN - The first plane of China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited, which has the logo of EXPO 2011 XI'AN, will debut in this capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province on Feb 28.

As the sole airline partner of World Horticultural Expo 2011 to be held in Xi'an, China Eastern will provide the expo park with three planes painted with the logo. The three planes will undertake both special missions and daily flights, spreading the environmental protection concept of the expo.

With the expo draws near, China Eastern has not only done its utmost to facilitate smooth transportation for the event but also publicized it.

The company has devoted six full pages in the February issue of its magazine "China Eastern" to publicizing the theme, concept, and logo of the expo as well as the meaning of the expo mascot.

The issue will reach different parts of the world with the 354 aircraft of China Eastern, according to sources from the company.
