Wang Guoqiang, a vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission paid a visit to Shanghai, June 25-26, to study its hospitals and learn more about its hospital reforms and work on chronic disease prevention and promoting Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Wang said that the city’s achievements in healthcare reform were impressive and that he hopes the city can go further in its public hospital reforms, improve the medical insurance system, push private hospital development, establish a multi-level medical care system, improve drug supplies and assurances, and promote TCM development.
Accompanying Wang on the visit were various Commission officials.
The World Family Organization was founded in Europe in 1947 and headquartered in Paris.
