Hangtian Road “guo kui”
“Guo kui” is bread that is baked and then spilt and stuffed with pork, chicken, vegetables or brown sugar. The bread is browned until tender and flaky, but not too oily, and is the traditional accompaniment to “fei chang fen”. Although in a small alley, the “guo kui” shop on Hangtian Road is very popular among locals, with many queuing up in the early hours.
