Jilin has seen the annual sales volume of mid-to-high-end Jilin rice increase from 450 million kilograms to 1 billion kilograms, it was announced at a press conference held on June 16 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The number of companies who are members of the Jilin Rice Industry Alliance has grown from seven to 69.

The province has also promoted the development of its fresh corn industry.

In 2020, the order area of fresh corn in Jilin was 541,000 mu (3,607 hectares), a year-on-year increase of 35.9 percent.
