Changchun-Jilin intercity bus to start operation in April
An intercity bus service linking Changchun and Jilin cities in Northeast China's Jilin province is set to go into service in April, providing more convenience for passengers, as well as promoting the formation of an industrial economic belt between the two cities.
The Changchun-Jilin high-speed bus line is 110 kilometers long and is expected to be officially launched for trial operations in April.
The bus line will pass through important transport hubs and passenger distribution centers in Changchun city, such as Dongfang Square, the Zhongdong Market, and Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Passengers can transfer to Changchun Rail Transit Line 2 and some of the intracity bus lines in Changchun city.
The intercity bus line's destination in Changchun city is Changchun Expressway Passenger Station.
After the line is opened, the buses will make 80 round-trips throughout the day, with an interval of 20 minutes.
The first and last buses will depart at 6 am and 5 pm in winter. The first and last buses will depart at 5:30 am and 8 pm in summer.
The ticket price is 16 yuan ($2.46) per person.
