Jilin, a province in Northeast China, is renowned for its marvelous ice and snow sculptures and welcomes the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics in its own unique way.
An Olympic torch made of ice was created at the end of 2019 in Jilin’s Ice and Snow World, a local sightseeing spot that features ice sculptures. The ice torch was 21 meters tall and ignited people's passion for the Winter Games.
