The second Changchun Scientific and Technological Achievements Exhibition was held on Nov 20 -- in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province -- showcasing over 1,500 sci-tech achievements and attracting the participation of over 100 businesses.

With its theme of "promoting the commercialization of sci-tech achievements and boosting the development of industries", the exhibition focused on the technical needs of the automotive industry and the rail transit equipment industry.

The exhibition promoted business deals and for the first time it was held both on-site as well as online.

At the exhibition, unveiling ceremonies for an innovation service center for Jilin province and Changchun city sci-tech workers, and a technology transfer center for the Jilin Huannanhu sci-tech innovation policy pilot zone were also held.

Representatives and experts from the FAW Group, CCRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd and Jilin University gave talks on relevant issues in their respective fields.

Experts and academics from a number of universities also exchanged ideas with companies, to help them solve technological bottlenecks in their development.
