The ongoing 3rd Northeast Asia Traditional Chinese Medicine and Health Care Industry Expo opened on Sept 20 in Changchun, the capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province.
The three-day expo features a series of exhibitions, conferences, forums and economic and trade activities.
These are being held in combination with activities involving the advanced concepts of green development, health culture and cross-border procurement and cutting-edge technologies for the industry.
The expo is being held both online and offline for the first time. The online exhibition has four exhibition areas for traditional Chinese medicine or TCM, health care products, overseas products and novel coronavirus pandemic prevention and control products.
According to the organizers, intelligent three-dimensional visualization exhibition functions are being used in the online exhibition, to offer panoramic browsing of the facilities and a look at all the exhibits.

The expo has attracted the participation of Chinese enterprises from nearly 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and overseas companies from Japan, South Korea, Thailand and other countries.
During the exhibition, an online cloud international fair on the Jilin TCM and health care industry will be held in Jilin and other four parallel venues in Japan, South Korea, Thailand and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This will enable exchanges between parties, displays and negotiations, to enhance the international promotion of TCM and accelerate the overseas development of Jilin province's TCM industry
Furthermore, a TCM development alliance of 14 provinces and municipalities -- Guizhou, Hebei, Shandong, Liaoning, Sichuan, Gansu, Hainan, Hubei, Fujian, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Tianjin, Beijing and Jilin -- will be established.
The alliance will build a new platform for the coordinated development of the TCM and health care industry in these places and cooperate to open up domestic and international markets.
