Hailong Lake Park has become a popular recreation site in Meihekou city, Northeast China's Jilin province, after its completion in September 2018. It opened to public for free and there is also a free bus route to the park.
Besides serving as a sightseeing and recreation site, Hailonghu Lake, the largest man-made lake in Meihekou with an area of 46.67 hectares, has connected part of the major rivers in the city, helping to shape a sponge city.
