Changchun international automobile city is now recruiting 100 fresh doctorate, master's degree and undergraduate graduates from national key universities -- in majors including the automobile sector, finance, law, management, architecture, literature and history, according to its announcement.
The international auto city, located in Changchun -- capital of Northeast China's Jilin province -- is widely regarded as the city's springboard for high-quality and innovative growth.
It covers 471 square kilometers, integrating parts of the Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Xixin industrial concentration zone in the Lyuyuan district and the Chaoyang economic development zone -- as well as the Changchun High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
The auto city, based on major Chinese auto manufacturer FAW Group, boasts a complete industrial chain of auto and auto parts research and development, production and aftermarket services.
By 2025, the annual output value of the auto city is projected to exceed 800 billion yuan ($114.4 billion) and it will be a leading national technology demonstration area for unmanned driving, new energy vehicles and 5G intelligent networks.
Officials said the recruitment campaign is the auto city's highest-level and largest-scale hiring program conducted for personnel and to date, 255 graduates from national key universities have applied.
They added that due to the effect of novel coronavirus epidemic, the recruiting deadline has been extended to July 24 from July 17 previously.
