The Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone in Changchun -- capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province -- has streamlined its administrative examinations and approval process, to make things speedier and easier for the zone's resident companies, according to local reports.
Zone officials said that the zone's market supervision bureau worked with the China Construction Bank Changchun FAW branch to launch a self-service machine for issuing business licenses.
The machine, located at the bank, went into service on May 13.
Applicants need only to register their business information online and following examination and approval, their legal representative or the client merely has to bring the original ID card to the designated branch of the bank for identification and can get the business license.
Officials said this has greatly cut administration time and costs for companies, offering more convenience for applicants.
The initiative is one of the zone's moves to support the development of enterprises in the zone.
Moving forwards, the zone's market supervision bureau will liaise and work with banks to further improve the business environment there, officials added.
