FAW (First Automobile Workshop) Group, an automobile giant in China, was established in Changchun, the city of wheels and the cradle of China's automobile industry.

The group's exhibition hall offers visitors a chance to learn about the history of China's automobile industry, automobile manufacturing processes and automobile culture.

The exhibition hall was built in 2006, and is composed of three zones covering an area of 3,000 square meters.

The hall displays China's first self-made car and all vehicles in the Hongqi series, a renowned automobile brand created by FAW. From the cars, historical documents and pictures visitors can truly understand the "Hongqi spirit".

Zone A tells stories of Hongqi, from 1958 to 1981 including how it was born and how the people of Hongqi contributed to national construction. Zone B depicts how Hongqi overcame obstacles and challenges and earned its market share and reputation from 1981 to 2006. Zone C shows how it has performed as an innovator since 2007, and its future blueprint.

The hall also shows the production line of Besturn cars, another renowned brand of FAW.
