Changchun Jingyuetan National Forest Park
Jingyuetan National Forest Park, covering 96.38 square kilometers, is located in the southeast of Changchun City, about 18 kilometers away from the city center. A pool of green lake water, a vast sea of lush trees and chains of magnificent mountains form a picturesque scenery and eco-friendly environment for tourists. Reputed as "the jewel of green sea", the park is a fascinating place to travel in any season.
The scenic spot Forest Bathing is known to be a natural oxygen bar. The amount of negative oxygen ion there is about 400 to 500 times that in the urban area, helpful for people's metabolism and immunity.
The Beach Bathing there, the largest of its kind in Jilin Province, covers close to 10, 000 square meters and is able to serve 3000 tourists simultaneously.
The Bisongjingyue Tower and the Taiping Bell Tower are located on the Guantan Hill. The Bisongjingyue Tower is a 50.2-meter-high, 11-story framework structure with uneven veranda eaves and firm skew support. It is so imposing and special that it has become a landmark of Changchun city. The Taiping Tower is named after a famous saying "constantly ring the alarm bell and the world will be peaceful".
The solemn Beiputuo Temple, one of the most famous temples in northeast China, was built in 1996 and officially consecrated on June 22, 1997. Despite a young age, it is well-known far and wide.
The Lotus and Weeping Willow Park consists of five lakes, seven islands and ten bridges with a combined area of 30 hectares. Integrating architectural tints of imperial gardens with ecological and cultural philosophies, the park is a nice place to appreciate lotus, ride a boat, stroll along island banks and go fishing.
