A total of 1,585 companies from Northeast China’s Jilin province will participate in the 2nd China International Import Expo, scheduled to be held in Shanghai on Nov 5-10, according to information released by the province’s department of commerce.

It said the companies are divided into 19 groups with 4,021 people.

They cover such areas as auto and auto parts, intelligent and high-end equipment, medical equipment, healthcare, food and agricultural products, culture and education and tourism services.

Officials said the companies will hold their own press conferences and trade promotional activities during the event, to attract investment from groups internationally and deepen business and links with them.
