BRI countries to display commodities at CNEA Expo
Countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will showcase their commodities at the 12th China-Northeast Asia Expo in Changchun, Northeast China’s Jilin province, from Aug 23 to 27, according to a fifth press briefing for the expo held on Aug 6.
More than 250 enterprises from 28 countries (20 of which are involved in the BRI) will participate in the exhibition, which will be held in the No 4 and No 5 exhibition halls. Companies from Thailand, Singapore, India, Nepal, Turkey, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and more will display their commodities, including furniture, food, and artwork, at the exhibition.
A special area measuring 3,000 square meters will be set up in the No 5 exhibition hall to display around 2,000 commodities from Germany, Ukraine, Croatia, Moldova, Lithuania, and Serbia. Technology and products related to food processing, intelligent manufacturing, healthcare, biomedicine, and environmental protection will be displayed.
The training center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Jilin council for the promotion of international trade will organize some visiting activities in Jilin province from Aug 25 to 30 for business associations from BRI countries.
