Photos in Brussels showcase China's anti-poverty success
An exhibition containing more than 40 photographs showcasing China’s efforts and achievements in poverty alleviation was held on April 10 in Brussels.
The exhibition was part of the “Better Life, Dreams Come True” event, during which Jilin province’s culture and tourism attractions were promoted.
Attendees of the exhibition included Zhang Ming, China's ambassador to the EU, and Wang Xiaoping, director of the Jilin publicity department.
The exhibition, divided into five parts, recounts the transformation of people’s lives in China and the country’s progress in poverty alleviation.
It was hosted at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York City last June, and will be held in the Netherlands and Denmark this year.
