Bayanqolu, Party chief of Jilin province, urged all Yanbian deputies to spend more efforts on high-quality development and continue to achieve new breakthroughs on Jan 28.

Bayanqolu spoke at the Yanbian group deliberation of the second session of the 13th Jilin Provincial People's Congress.

He closely listened to the speeches delivered by nine deputies to the Jilin Provincial People's Congress, and  fully affirmed the economic and social development that Yanbian has made over the past year.

Yanbian is a bridgehead of our province’s opening to the outside world and holds an important position, he said.

We have to proceed with confidence to promote green and high-quality development, and contribute more to the comprehensive revitalization of Jilin, he added.

Bayanqolu attached great importance to new development concept and called for accelerating the digitalization construction of Yanbian.

He encouraged the city to deeply implement the innovative-driven strategy and integrate more to the Belt and Road Initiative.

He also urged to establish and strengthen partnerships with foreign countries, and make more efforts to solve problems of people's livelihood, including employment, education and medical care.
