Jilin attracts 200 billion yuan of investment

Representatives from over 160 financial institutions gathered in Changchun to discuss the topic and give their advice.
Over the past few days, the northeastern province has secured a total of 141 projects with 17 financial institutions and nearly 200 billion yuan ($28.83 billion) of investment.
The Bank of China, for example, has signed an agreement with Jilin province to provide 30 billion yuan ($ 4.3 billion) to support its ice-snow industry.
"We will work with Jilin to establish a communication and cooperation platform to provide further strength to the future development of the industry," said Liu Liange, president of the Bank of China.
