Marketing cooperation between Taizhou and Tonghua’s specific agricultural products such as Tonghua rice, sweet corn, ginseng and blueberries has achieved good results. The two sides will sign a grain supply and marketing agreement to deepen long-term and stable cooperative relations in that area.

The two cities will strengthen tourism cooperation and carry on recuperation and recreation tourism events, becoming tourist source markets for each other.

“The next step is to strengthen mutual learning and give full play to respective characteristics and advantages,” said Chen Yijun, Party secretary of Taizhou, adding that they need to promote industrial cooperation in the manufacturing and agriculture and tourist industries as well as strengthen exchange between governments, companies and residents.

A signing ceremony of cooperation between departments of the two cities’ governments was also held at the cooperation joint conference.
