Bayanqolu, Party chief of Jilin province, welcomed the arrival of guests on behalf of Jilin provincial Party committee and provincial government, and thanked them for their contribution to the province over the past years.

"Jilin is in a critical period of revitalization and development," said Jing Junhai, governor of Jilin province, encouraging financial institutions to grasp the opportunity and enlarge their investment in Jilin.

A roundtable conference was held later that day under the theme of “rural financial reform”. Twelve representatives of State-owned financial institutions including the People's Bank of China, China Banking Regulatory Commission and China Development Bank had in-depth discussion on the topic and gave their advice on how to revitalize Jilin's villages.
