A fair to promote agricultural products from Northeast China's Jilin province was held in Beijing on Oct 21. Some 57 Jilin-based enterprises, along with representatives and major purchasers from Beijing, attended the event.

A series of tailor-made cultural performances, including song-and-dance duets, sketch comedy shows and talk shows, will be put on during the month-long promotional fair, to promote some 99 varieties of high-quality Jilin agricultural products such as rice, mixed beans, corn and mushrooms.

The event was co-hosted by the Jilin Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, Beijing Municipal Commission of Rural Affairs and the Representative Office of Jilin Provincial People's Government in Beijing.
