The 17th CCIAFF Expo opens in Changchun
The 17th China Changchun International Agriculture and Food Fair (CCIAFF) Expo is being held at Changchun Modern Agricultural Park in Changchun, the capital of Jilin province on August 17-26.
The expo has organized five different themes for its visitors, covering 36 attractive activities, in order to realize high quality agricultural development, promote the "three rural issues" work and enrich the lives of the citizens.
The expo has designed three special exhibition halls. The first one is "Rural Revitalization" exhibition hall. The area has constructed the miniature landscape of four national characteristic towns to the development results of rural revitalization.
The second one is for displaying some New Age results. There section includes a special mountain. It is a mountain built by quantity of gingers, which has been kept from last year's fair. Moreover, visitors will find out about the four great quintessence of Chinese culture and four great inventions.
The last one is a new exhibition hall, which is showing more than 200 rare birds including the long-beak hornbill, which is the most expensive one in this area.
The CCIAFF is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, People's Government of Jilin Province and People's Government of Changchun City, and is co-hosted by People's Government of Changchun City, Jilin Provincial Agriculture Commission and Jilin Agricultural University in 2000.
It is the only government-led exhibition approved by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted under the name of the Ministry of Agriculture in Jilin province. CIAAFF has played an obvious role in serving the "Three Rural Issues", leading the development of modern agriculture and improving comprehensive competitiveness of cities, and has produced tremendous benefits.
