According to a press conference on Aug 8, the northeast province has also committed itself to building over 20 summer resort towns by 2020, and it will attract more than one million tourists from home and abroad to spend their summers in Jilin.
In recent years, Jilin has driven its economic growth by developing ice and snow tourism in winter, and resorts promotion and rural tourism in summer.
A heat-escape industrial chain has gradually been formed in all aspects, including food, living, travel, transport, shopping, and entertainment, offering visitors convenience for not only traveling but also living in the province.
