Leftover children look forward to family reunion before Spring Festival
As Spring Festival awaits just around the corner, there are still dozens of children living in the Dandelion's House — a leftover children's home in Yanji City, Jilin province — waiting for their parents.
To help these leftover children keep their excitement for welcoming the Spring Festival and relieve their disappointment of not seeing their parents, the institute organized a series of activities to experience a happy new year.
As of now, there are 54 leftover children in the Dandelion's House, ages ranging from 9 to 14 years old and more than a half are ethnically Korean. Most of their parents work in South Korea and Japan.
