Being a Changchun native, a provincial CPPCC member, and a world speed skating champion, Ye Qiaobo pays a lot of attention to development of Jilin's ice and snow industry.

Ye suggested that Jilin should start building an international ice sports training industrial cluster to promote the province as an ice sports training base, a sports event field and a snow tourism center.

She proposed a series of initiatives on the construction of an industrial cluster.

First, build an international ice sports training demonstration zone and set up training branches.

Then, establish an ice sports training industrial alliance to integrate and make full use of the ice and snow resources in the entire province.

Finally, a professional coach qualification authentication system, sports event and access to big data for training should be constructed to guarantee the formation of an industrial chain.

"I hope Jilin can be a pioneer in establishing the ice and snow industrial alliance," Ye said proudly, filled with expectations.
