Avoid direct contact with infected people
If someone is suspected to have the Ebola virus, do not touch them, because the disease is spread primarily via direct contact with infected patients.
An infected person's symptoms include fever, muscle and joint pain, a sore throat, headache and fatigue - followed by nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, which may include blood.
Encourage them to seek help from a medical or health center as soon as possible.
