十年14亿美元重金打造纽约最大地铁换乘中心启用

当地时间2014年11月10日，美国纽约，历时10年、耗资14亿美元重金打造的纽约富尔顿中心地铁站正式投入使用，它是纽约最大的地铁站交通换乘枢纽，并将连接重建后的纽约世界贸易中心和纽约市其他地区，每天为30万次乘客服务。据悉，富尔顿中心地铁站位于纽约曼哈顿下城，拥有27个入口，以及6.6万平方英尺的零售和商业办公空间，目前纽约九条地铁线路交汇于此，富尔顿中心地铁站被玻璃和钢铁的外壳包围，中间的圆形屋顶可以透进自然光。内部有一个螺旋楼梯，一个玻璃电梯，中庭宽敞明亮。
